Sten+Barr Medical, Inc. Names Farrell as Director of Marketing

(Tampa, FL, July 21, 2006) – Sten+Barr Medical, Inc. a Tampa-based, national provider of wound care and bariatric (obesity) care equipment solutions, has named Kevin Farrell as Director of Marketing.  Previously, Farrell had served as Director of Marketing for Healthcare Turnaround Group, a consulting firm in Palm Harbor, FL.  As Director of Marketing, he will be responsible for expanding and enhancing the Sten+Barr brand to the long-term care and acute care marketplaces.     

            Farrell also held top marketing positions at moveable medical equipment provider MEDIQ PRN (Pennsauken, NJ) and magazine publisher duPont Publishing (St. Petersburg, FL).  Director of Marketing is a newly created position at Sten+Barr and reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

            Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Farrell received his B.A. in marketing from the University of Notre Dame.
