Sten+Barr Medical, Inc. was founded in 1996 by Andy Stenberg and Bill Barr, industry professionals with over 30 years combined experience in the health care industry with special expertise in wound care management and long-term care.

After establishing itself as a quality distributor of specialty beds, support surfaces, and other therapeutic products, Sten+Barr Medical added clinical services in 1997.

In July 1999, Sten+Barr Medical launched Network Solutions, a support platform for a national network of independent distributors serving national accounts with flexible customized solutions. Sten+Barr Network Solutions now serves several national long term care corporations, accounting for over 1800 facilities in 48 states.

Sten+Barr Medical continues to provide products, solutions, and services for acute and chronically ill populations while expanding into obesity products, respiratory products and services.
